Red part turned in for a refund.

I finished restoring my Elmac A54H transmitter and it actually sounds pretty good! I sample/rectify the RF coming out and send it directly to my headphones. Carrier output is 20 watts.

Aside from recapping and changing out a few components that were bad, it's almost entirely stock. I did get rid of the selenium diode in the negative peak limiter circuit and modify the mic preamp section a little. I wanted to keep everything as close to original as possible.

I like Elmacs.  I've traded a few over the years, but I'm going to keep this and my AF-67. I still need to build a power supply for that one and go through it as well.

Jon
