NTE834 comparator output voltage

I'm using the NTE834 comparator chip for something, but the positive output voltage is 1.7 vdc when it switches and I'm wanting 5 vdc.  I have a 5 vdc supply to the ship and ground is connected to -VCC.  It is switching properly, because when the input to the (-) pin is 5 vdc the output goes to zero.  2.5 vdc is my reference voltage to the (+) pin.  It is configured as an inverting comparator.

I need the output to drive other TTL logic, so I need 5 volts output.  Datasheet is attached.

I think I found my answer. I need a pull-up resistor on the output.

Just for ha-ha’s, here’s the finished product. I also needed pull-up resistors on the buffer chip right before the FETs. It’s a logic board for something at work. An Arduino or a Raspberry Pi would’ve been more elegant, but this requires no programming.
