I pass this place about every month when driving to Carlsbad, NM. They make transformers and I have seen mention of their iron in a few Electric Radio articles. Looks like they need some help.

I have ordered some really nice 600 ohm 1:1 audio transformers (20cps to 20kcps) from Edcor Electronics and was surprised at the high quality of the transformers, how reasonable their prices were and how fast my order got here. Interesting that no experience is needed but I got the impression that the construction of their custom transformers is probably an automated operation. Maybe that "shed" is where they store their lawn equipment and the transformer facility is a huge underground facility!

I have ordered a number of power and audio transformers from them and they seem to have a decent product.

It is possible their sales have increased for replacement transformers and need more CNC operators/programmers.
