I'm rebuilding an sx-99 and installing the Hayseed Ham fest capacitor kit and looking for tube replacements. Wondering if there is a direct replacement for a 6sg7 tube?

Don't know.  But they're available from most of the usual sources.  Don't seem to be particularly rare.  Tubedepot seems to have the JAN (metal version), too.

I checked the ARRL Handbook Replacement List.  None listed.

Fair Radio has the 6SG7 for a pretty reasonable price.
