Nico and Chappie (Chappie is the dog...)

Perhaps interesting for those who don't know this receiver. Quite rare, especially in the USA
I have one and it became my favorite receiver. All LC filters, BW 6, 3, 1, 0.3 kHz. triple conversion, first IF 1.3 - 1.4 MHz, second 370 kHz  and third IF 30 kHz. Output AF is a E88CC balanced amplifier. All modular and E88CC's all over the place. Mixers ECH81
The receiver ranges from 1.5 - 30.1 MHz in 5 bands. The tuning is free running for easy fast tuning or locked in 100 kHz bands to a 100 kHz crystal in oven
The stability when locked is better than 100 Hz at all frequencies and the dial readout better than 1 kHz.
What I like the most beside the stability are the fantastic LC filters. Nice smooth curve and low phase distortion.
