Brrrr- it's cold in the shack! Fire up the BIG RIG

WWW

Well, I went.

Most all the "good stuff" was sold before I got there. Sad
Otoh, the second or third table I stopped at found me the ONE thing that I really had hoped to be able to find!
The elusive 250kc crystal that I need to modify my KWS-1 for "AM" (DSB + Carrier).
Amazing!
Found it in a tin of random crystals and other stuff.

Anyhow here are some pix...

Behind QIX's head is the head of Paul, KD2IWC, being some sort of clown... heh.

Then there was this guy...

W2TRH eating health food... sitting in my chair (no extra charge, Steve!) next to those aluminum racks.
And my van.

And, Allan H. Wiener brought a mobile rig along with him.
Apparently this is destined for a rebuild up at WBCQ, and followed him up from Flo-rida, I am told.
50kW.
Gates.
It says GATES on it.

And I stupidly bought this junker 75A-3. MOUSED.
It had that neat aftermarket SSB adapter (not shown) that I got with a 75A-2 and it works
and sounds terrific. So I went for it.

Zep 505 gets the BROWN out!

Thanks for the pictures Bear!

I did see you and waved, but that was about it.

Glad you had a good time.

Probably the EPA...?

Eventually all the BROWN is perty much gone, and after a few specialized treatments and
some time the STENCH of MOUSE goes as well... silly Bear bought it. DOH!

It was that SSB adapter that made me do it! Cheesy

Glad you stopped by my table Bear! It was nice to meet you even if you didn't buy any of my crappy stuff! Looks like you got some of the good stuff!

Rob,

If by "good stuff" you mean a receiver that no one in their right mind would touch with a ten foot
pole AND a respirator AND rubber gloves? Then yep! Smiley
