“Coast To Coast” announcing early this morning that Art Bell, 71, died on April Fri. 13 from information verified from Nye County, Nevada sheriff and others. Many comments coming in now from long time listeners and friends.

George Noory, the current show host stated, “Art could set a candlelit story better than anybody.”

The show’s link should have more info and obit later today.

I just read about this and was coming to post it.

Sad.

End of an Era.

Rip, Art.  Maybe they make an alpha up there that the cat CAN lay in the key and it won't melt down!

“—Fri.13th,”  Exactly what George said early this morning. Possibly / Hopefully there’ll be a show rerun.

Geo. Also replayed one of Art’s greatest shows where a Texan flew his light plane at night into Area 51 airspace with plane comm and radios off but cell phone to Art working.  - -Very descriptive including a F-16 intercept, doors opening on some type of ground launcher, etc. Finished segment this morning with Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” at request of a caller.
