Wow, we have an upset in the AM Rally results!

Paul KW7Y operating as W7A is the overall winner.  His log was simply overlooked.  Here's how it happened:

Paul sent his log to me on 2/4/2018, however it was sent to my personal email and not logs@amrally.com,  and I didn't look there when I was processing all of the data.

As a result, Paul's log was not processed.  It turns out that Paul made 184 contacts including a number of European countries for a total of 234 points.  The addition of Paul's log also changes the important unique calls logged, and the total QSO count.

These now stand at 882 unique calls and 2147 total QSOs logged!  Even more impressive than before.

So, congratulations are in order for Paul.  Nice effort !! Steve KA1VWC now stands at 2nd place, but that's ok - he won last year so it's OK Smiley

Here is the data.

Paul lives on the next island over from me.  I think I only worked him on 40 but I heard him working the all the open bands and lots of the contacts he made.

Clark, I submitted my log and also had to send it to Steve’s personal email because the email listed on the web page was not working. My totals were low in comparison, but I’m not seeing my log mentioned in the 72 posted. No need to recalculate, but there may be more that we’re not counted.

Yes, I updated the results just now to include your log.  The logs@ email wasn't active for the start of the event (didn't expect to get logs until the event was over  Grin ).  But that's no problem.

While I was at it, I searched the whole email box for other logs and didn't find any others, so I think we're good.

Thanks and Regards,

Steve

Take a look at his antennas. Then you'll know why he won.   Wink
