 Hello, all.
 On the work bench is an o scope, most likely cold war era or earlier.
 Data plate reads

" oscilloscope OS-50/MRQ-7
stock number yo52-8130064 serial number 3107
Gilfillin Bros. Inc.  Contract No. Da-04-495-ORD 1038
ORD Corps, USA   U.S. Property"

 Anybody have some info on this unit?
 Multiple searches using the above info have been fruitless.
 Thing is built like a 1958 Oldsmobile. (Did I mention it's heavy?)
 Thinking of using it for station monitor, has the proper look to fit in with the T-368 and 75a-3.

How big is it? Sorta like an OS-8CU ?--one of which I have.

It is part of the maintenance gear for the MGM-5 Corporal mobile ground to ground nuclear missle system which was deployed in Europe in 1955. 

I would expect it is more or less a rudimentary scope with limited bandwidth and you could make a modulation monitor out of it depending on what controls are user available and how determined you are.  I suspect locating a manual might be problematic, although maybe the Kremlin could photocopy theirs for you...

Geoff, Thanks for the background on this unit.
 I am happy to report the unit works.
 Here is the cool part, nothing was needed, plug and play.
 No evidence of any parts replaced, stock, as built, over 60 years ago.
 Should I be able to get the resident computer expert to help (read 'daughter'), I will post a picture or three.
