Found two of these in my junk room as Mary would say.
Anyone know what peak AC voltage they would handle?

Could you post an image of the tube from as many interesting angles as appropriate to show structure, and especially a high detail image of the type number, and indicate the manufacturer if known?

I have the JEDEC files, perhaps the information is in there or partial.

What I have is the diode replacement for a 4 pin rectifier.
It is a 4 pin tube base with the diodes covered with white epoxy.
It is labeled with a piece of tape with 8d83 hand written on it.  The base is labeled Sylvania under the tape.

The tape with writing on it may not mean much.
That type does not show up anywhere but it has 83 in the number, maybe equivalent to that type. 4 pin it could be anything up to a 5Z3 size, same rating as 5U4. also could be smaller like the 5X4, 400V RMS per plate @ 100mA or 1275V RMS per plate@30mA. Might also be something someone made.

Perhaps the best way to find out would be to use or rig up a diode tester to give breakdown voltage and then give yourself some room.
