this is a var cap from military stuff maybe arc5.is a very slow moving cap takes about 40 turns to get to the end and has a long semi flexable shaft coming of one side.this wide spaced and would be good for a vfo project.no name on this ,has a no on rear 5032.very well made and heavy.one could take off the clogged wheel on the front and use it that way looks like a 1/4" dia shaft but then you would loose the slow tuning feature. $7.50 and $4 ship. tnx randy k4rhh . can pay w/ paypal
