- - Nov. 26, 2017 - -

Located here within 90 minutes driving distance from New Orleans,
Baton Rouge, and Lafayette.

It can be safer and easier on that heavy radio gear, to drive here
instead of sending it out via UPS.

I can repair old tube gear,  or at least find what is wrong,
and try to locate parts. (I have no tubes and just a few
transformers here.)

Also experienced in high power transistorized RF amplifiers,
inlcluding that Class-E FET stuff, Guitar amplifiers, older
amateur gear, Swan, Cubic, Atlas, etc.

I have a selection of components here at my shop at home,
and in Morgan City (30 minutes from here) is an electronics
store with a good selection of components.

I got laid off from work a few months ago, due to the shut-down
of many oil production platforms here in the Gulf of Mexico.
I am an ex-commercial marine electronics ET/Svc Eng., repairing
radar, GMDSS MF/HF radio xcvrs, to foghorns.

So bring some beer, and a little "donation"  and we can get that
cool stuff working again.

Or if You are too far away, get the Brown UPS truck
to brink it here.
