Even though this is not necessarily an Amateur Radio subject it comes close.  Last year Allan Weiner got a 90 meter assignment at 3250 for WBCQ. Low power testing was done last year with good results. Since then another MW 50 was purchased and set up in another building. I have not had much to do with it as far as conversion and set up. Allan has it up and running at roughly half power 20-25 Kw into the rhombic antenna. It is time to see if it hangs in. Hopefully everything go on as planned with any unexpected crap outs.   A broadcash of Radio Timtron World Wide will air this evening at 8 Pm til 10 Pm Eastern time 9/11/17. Allan wanted me to alert the ham radio community to solicit signal reports. The E mail for WBCQ is wbcq@wbcq.com  would like to hear from you! Are we piss weak or STRAPPING ? Thanx, Tim WA1HnyLR

Wow. So I tuned around on an analog receiver and found a bangin' signal *about* where 3250 would be. Then I heard a belch, confirming reception, followed by a crapout at about 8:42pm Yeastern.

Switching to a tabletop with digital tuning, the STRAPessent signal continued. Now you're asking for a reception report. Here it is (attached)...

Uh oh. Another crap out at 8:52 followed by Star Trek effects and an old buzzard x-mission.

Just another night on HF, I can tell.

Like a mother flea calling it's young on a European SDR...

About an S7-S9 on a Michigan SDR...

A thread of a signal in Brazil...

Readable in Argentina (but don't cry for me)...

*Maybe* a trace in Poland...

Hello Tim,
I sent a report to BCQ direct already but you are strapping in at 12 over very good signal average, no more than 6 db shallow fades and same upward peaks  3250.  I read 7.3 hz high.

Receiver is Flex 1500 and a 75 meter dipole at 35 feet.

Sounds like a fun night!

Tim,

Strong signal into central NJ.  Listening with a portable radio and a whip antenna.

Wish I had read this earlier, now 7:30 PDT, very unusual weather here, raining with some lightening. I had my antenna grounded and was not planning to be on the air. I wonder if anyone checked the W6DRZ remote receiver in Half Moon Bay, Ca??

Darn, The SDR at K3FEF only goes down to 3.300. Guess I'll have to find another one?

I however had hear it in the past on low power and it was way over S9 so the 20-25 KW should be able to be hooked up to my toaster to make some instant flapjacks!

Tuned in about 1950hr, did hear the station call sign, WBCQ, at 3250kc , but could not make out much more. Located about 50 miles south of Pittsburgh.
