LOOKING FOR ANY INFO ON THIS VARIAC W2-403 ALSO HAD HAND WRITTEN ON THE BOX 3010-4630 ON THE BOX.CANNOT FIND ANY INFO ON THIS.LOOKS LIKE THE COMMON TYPE VARIAC BUT HAS 7 HOOKUPS ON THE TERMINAL BOARD.ANY HELP APPRECIATED .TNX RANDY K4RHH rwcradiocollector@gmail.com

Some had extra terminals to power a panel light,  one on each side.  Easiest thing to do is put power across the whole winding and measure the voltages at the taps.  From the neutral terminal to the first tap may be 6-7 volts, used to power a panel light.  A second one from the other end of the winding.

I think I remember seeing one with taps at 37.5 volts for some reason.  I have about 30 variacs and powerstats,  I'd have to take a look the ones still not in use.
