NXPs latest 65V 1800W LDMOS FET is now available from RicharsonRFPD and soon from DK. This device should make an honest 1KW PEP in HF linear service and even more in VHF FM.  I want one.

Look at the price.. only $250, the price of a couple China 3-500Zs. It encroacheth upon my beloved vacuum tubes! ahhh the needs of the many..
