"It is with extreme sadness that we announce the loss of our Radio Club Matriarch, Coleta Maxine Taylor, KD5QFH(SK). Coleta was involved with the club in so many ways and for so many years. Her dedication and enthusiasm was contagious and her attention to detail was sometimes frustrating. It makes you realize what a jewel she really was. With much admiration, love and respect, we wish her a safe journey home.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to organizations that support our military troops such as the (USO), SFO Intl. Airport Terminal 1 Mezzanine Level, San Francisco, CA 94128, or your favorite charity."

She was a pillar of the Irving TX ham club for years and I will sure miss her smiling face at the hamfests.  If you don't smoke, don't start. Those of us that do should quit. However, 82 is a good age and her life was very full.
