The attached IMD chart from EDN really helped me figure out what all the crap meant on my pan adapter display, and then the realization that on AM, each sideband is the mirror image of the other.

The really cool thing about the ARRL article on the K7DYY transmitter, in my opinion, is that the ARRL guys running this thing during the rally were literally blown away with the effectiveness and audio quality that they were achieving.

Go back in the day, pick a Globe King 500, then have a real modulator capable of full modulation with low distortion, and full frequency response, then miniaturize it, weighing about 10 pounds...that is a Super Senior!
