I have a Valiant that is in dire need of a new front panel, I have a used one coming so need to get the "old" one off. I know I saw a youtube video that  explained the procedure and the precautions with the VFO shaft but I can't find it now. I thought it was a video by K7PP or maybe D-Lab, anyone know the video I'm talking about? I just found this great resource and have read a bunch of the forum posts.

Thanks for your help.

From Janis, AB2RA:
VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT! DO NOT DETACH THE FRONT PANEL WITHOUT FIRST LOOSENING THE PLASTIC VFO DRIVE COUPLING FROM THE FRONT PANEL. IF YOU DO NOT, IT DESTROYS THE PLASTIC DRIVE. ONCE ALL THE NUTS ARE TIGHTENED IN FINAL POSITION, (CAREFULLY ALIGN FINGER TIGHT FIRST), REDO THE VFO DRIVE LAST!
