RCA BTA 1MX 1,000 watt AM broadcast transmitter. 807's and 833A's. It has been modified by a broadcast engineer / ham op to 160 meters with PTT. Currently being operated on 1.885 with a VFO, but the original crystal oven could be used if new owner has a 160m crystal made. On casters. Currently operating with 250 watts carrier. Transmitter is in good operating condition and in occasional use. Size is 84" high, 27" wide and 33" deep. Located in Cape Coral, Florida. Local pick-up only, of course. Price is $1,200 firm.
