Looking for a source for HV electrolytic caps in the 700 to 900VDC range. Preferably axial leads but not necessary and capacity in  the 16uF to 40uf range. The usual sources I have used either dried up or went out of business.

There's a much wider selection (and cheaper) buying 450V/500V electrolytic caps and just putting them in series.

Modern Aerovox Z26S5592M01 elevator service oil caps are available in high uF values, upwards of 1kVDC.

In addition, I use a lot of 630V film caps from Angela or Solen.  Pricey, but they last forever.

Electrolytics are so ephemeral, of dubious origin, and tough to source.  Yeah, I know all about Mouser et al.  Even the best of them are short-lifers.

I have ordered from this firm and have been pleased.  Most of the aluminum electrolytics are 105C caps.   Saying that, they only go up to 600V.
