Nobody has the hook-up sheet or connections for this one?
Greg
Don't think Stancor ever had hook-up sheets for the small xfmrs. I'll take a look in my Stancor catalogs to see if they gave any additional info. I'll get back later tonight.
How many leads or connection terminals does this xfmr have?? Anymore than five or maybe six??
Generally, a driver xfmr is rated in ratios of the primary to 1/2 the secondary. If yours is a line driver than we know the primary would be 600 ohms or maybe 500 ohms. From that you can figure out everything else.
Stancor A-4765 ratings are;
Primary imp. 500 ohms, 15 watts, 200Hz-4000Hz RMS Test Voltage 1000
Turns ratios are 1.33, 1.2, 1, .8, .7, .5, .45, .4, .36, .32 to 1. Primary to 1/2 secondary. Numbers greater than 1 are a step down ratio from the primary (500 ohms) to 1/2 secondary.
If the terminals are not labeled you'll have to determine which terminals are what. Do this by applying a low AC voltage (10v-20v) on the primary and then measure the voltage on the secondary terminals. The voltages will be higher or lower based on the ratios. The ratio of 1:1 you should measure the same voltage applied to the primary on 1/2 the secondary (each half) (measured from the CT to each terminal that are the 1:1 ratio).
To find the impedance on each half secondary, divide 500 by the square of the turns ratio.
