Trees, limbs and antennas down. The 80/40 dipole south leg is now a vertical. The 6 meter rotatable dipole is twisted and the back yard is now a lake!

Typical Ohio March!

TNX fer heads up, Buddly! Glad you came through it okay. They've been predicting it here for a couple days now. Roller coaster temps up into mid 70s one day, back down to 40s-50s the next. Supposed to reach 80 today, already 74. Have managed to slay a few of the excess trees here but still far too many w/weak or dead limbs. Wind helps clean them out.

Picked up a little lightning alarm for the girls to use when they go to the park or playground, for some simple advanced warning of inbound storms. Looks like today will be a good opportunity to test it.

Snow flurries predicted for Friday....

The WX has been up and down. 84 here yesterday but only 50 for a high today and a low of 27 tonight. Crazy.

Yep, the roller coaster. Been like that for a month or more here. Mild winter but with plenty of cold mixed in. Just went down and fired up the woodstove a while ago.

Yesterday's storm fizzled out by the time it got here. Plenty of wind left, a 78 MPH gust registered at Quantico, but back here at the house nothing but a few gusts and some rain. Not so much was a distant rumble of thunder. A certain 4 yr old was noticeably annoyed that she didn't get to see the new lightning alarm go off like dad said it would. Oops.
