UTC 64874

Anyone got data on the UTC 54874?

I think it a BC band reject filter /HPF after briefest checking. My data is pretty poor, so any help would be appreciated.

The unit is a rectangular tall box, black, with 4 solder terminals in a fiberboard insulating plate on the bottom. About 6" tall, 2.5-3" wide and 3.5-4" deep. It's weighgty but it is apparently potted with some hard waxy material.

UTC BR 54874 - but someone has 'engraved' the BR, not at the factory probably.

Zin and Zout unknown but when connected to a sweep of 10KHz-3MHz
and input fed by a 50 Ohm leveled source at 1V,
and output loaded with 200 Ohms,
and output observed on scope.

the points were noted:
reference to output at 3Mhz:
3MHz 0dBm
2MHz 0dBm
800KHz -3dBm (about 0.7x the 3MHz voltage)
320KHz -6dBm (half the 3MHz voltage)

The curve was smooth and looked like typical HPF, but I think it ought be sharper. Maybe with the right load impedance it will be better. At the moment all generators going above 3MHz are out of order.

I say dBm because I am referring to power, that is 1/2 the voltage across the 200R load is -6dBm
Not sure if that's the right notation as receivers often specify microvolts.

I'd like to put it to use if I knew exactly what it is and how to use it properly.  8-)
