This definitely beats the photo of the person holding a hot soldering iron!

Making AM GREAT Again!

This reminds me of something I witnessed once.

Jacob's ladder,  was sitting in the corner of a new acquaintances room.   After watching it for a few minutes,  we drifted off to 'other cool stuff'  in his radio and electronics room.

After a few minutes,  the ladder quit, I guess.   We noticed it wasn't climbing,  anyway,  after about 15 minutes or so of a good BS-A-Thon.....   Todd reached over and grabbed each electrode with a hand.

First time I saw someone literally get knocked across the room,  on their ass.

He's still alive.   Don't believe Todd is even interested in Jacob's Ladders any longer.

Hi!
I teach at a polytechnic university, I use this guy in my classes, from time to time. However, the adventures of this guy needs some explaination.

Thanks for posting this. I thought that I already had my biggest laugh of the day but this definitely hit the top spot! I have no doubt this guy will get a Darwin Aware at some point in his very short future...

What a classic!  I'll bet he has the biggest shelf of crapped out gear you'll ever see.  His wife commented about his pile.

The way his arms jump into the fetal-defensive position is hilarious.

I've been there. I've sometimes thought I was being singled out -  until I saw him...  Grin

Use an "AM Courtesy Filter" to limit transmit audio bandwidth  +-4.5 KHz, +-6.0 KHz or +-8.0 KHz when needed.  Easily done in DSP.

While I've done/lived through much of what he has done, I done it when I was a lot younger.....So I guess I have not acheived my full Darwin potential. Driving in the snow, or the dreaded B+ haven' got me yet.

Our Hero above just needs more time.

Either:

1) This guy has somehow evaded Darwin's radar

2) Darwin is on vaca on a tropical island

3) This guy has more lives than a cat

4) Darwin is in therapy after having lost his touch

5) Darwin is getting WAY too selective

6) This guy is Uncle Fester's grandson (anyone else see a slight resemblance?)
