I am doing my annual shack clean-out, and I have the following item that is now surplus to my needs:

One each: Used Chicago Transformer Company Model 7284N Plate Transformer. I think this model number is representative of a special unit, built-to-order by Chicago, as I cannot find any listing for it in my literature.

115 VAC primary, and I believe the secondary will deliver around 2000 to 2500 VDC at 500 Ma into a choke input filter. The secondary is center-tapped. This is a big and heavy unit, with cast-iron mounting feet.  My guess is the weight is around 50 lbs.

It is dusty, but should clean up nicely.

The price is $100.00, plus the cost of shipment to your QTH.

Please feel free to ask me any questions about this item; my e-mail is triodes@optonline.net

Thanks & 73,

Bruce, W2XR
