I was reading the post about PW rigs in the QSO forum.  Would a single ended audio transformer work as a mod transformer in a piss-weaker rig?

Home of GORT. A buddy of mine named the 813 rig GORT.
His fear was when I turned it on for the first time life on earth would come to a stand still.

I used a p.p. audio secondary to plate modulate a dx 60 with very fine results. (I guess I mean the primary) I fed the speaker 8 ohm winding with a challenger 25 watt public address amp. This really worked great.  73 Roy
