Red part turned in for a refund.

I was able to talk with Steve, WA1QIX tonight on 75 meters using my class E rig.  It puts out full power, but my dipole is low to the ground.  I was very pleased that I was able to talk with the east coast given less-than-ideal band conditions.

So anyway, it's Thanksgiving!  I hope everyone gets stuffed and has a good nap.  I will be hitting the stores with my wife for the 36 hour duration after the meal.

Hi Jon,

Yeah, that was a good QSO.  I was hearing you quite well, particularly near to the end of the contact, as the evening wore on and band conditions got better.

Have a great Thanksgiving!

I'm sure we'll be able to QSO again during the winter as the band conditions continue to improve.

Regards,

Steve
