I just purchased another transmitter & modulator from an estate sale but the power supply became missing in action. It's a nice transmitter that uses a 4E27/5-125B in the pi net final modulated by 811's, not 811A's. They were made in 1953 and far as I can tell, none after that? There is an earlier model from 1949 that used an 813 as a final.

Is anyone on here using this transmitter? If so, what are the pitfalls or good points of this transmitter. It looks as if this one was modified perhaps for side band as a pot was added in a bad spot by the band SW and there is another SW on the bottom that does ??

If anyone has a schematic or manual for the above, please let me know or post it.

Thanks Terry

The Eldico TR-1 TV was generally sold as 3 piece rack transmitter. The exciter/final was labeled TR-1 TV; have no clue if they labeled the speech amplifier/modulator section and the power supply section with any model identification. The TR-1 TV was only around for one year. The earlier TR-1 (with 813 final) was around for about 3 years. There was also a TR-75 (807 in the final) and a TR-75 TV (1625 in the final).
