Hello AM Lovers,

First to all: A GOOD 2016!

This morning (Jan. 2) we were qso-ing on 3660 Khz.
We = F6AQK, 9H1ES and me (after our qso: PE1PIC)
The conditions were fair to good, I could receive 9H1ES (Malta) with S2 - S5.
F6AQK (Jean) did have S6 - S9 +30, sometimes a big signal!

With my other receiver I listen to +/- 3875 khz.
I heard a man talking, but evenso on that freq. a carrier and some noise.
Therefore I could not hear his call or name, his signal were between S2 - S6.

Thats all for today,

I was listening for a little bit just after midnight here (0500 UTC) and heard steve WA1QIX on 3873 along with Bob K1KBW, and a rather large group, so its possible it was one of those that  you heard.

Shelby,
I think I have heard only the voice of Steve this morning.
A pity around 3875 I receive often a carrier with some noise.
For example around 3885 is often 'cleaner' by me.

After a long time I heard an AM station from the USA.
Last weeks bad conditions on 80 mtrs.

Thanks for your info,
