   Hello
I have a modified Valiant. The Valiant was modified for use with the Heath SB 10 to operate SSB. I want to use it again on AM phone but I have no HV. Does the SSB mode eliminate HV? Any info?

Thanks Tim

HV should still be there. You have other issues.
I would also suggest reading QST, August 1960, page 48, "Using the Heathkit SB-10 with the Johnson Valiant transmitter
