It is with sadness I give notice that Lee Vincent K5LMH, whom some of us know from the radio and who was the director of The Irving (Texas)Amateur Club, had a sudden unexpected heart attack this morning (1-3-2016) and passed away.

Lee was one of those guys who liked to trade and also to give stuff away and pick up various basket cases. He would help a person with any radio problem and was good at fixing radios without the schematic. He rebuilt a CDE HAM IV rotor for me and refused to charge, and I know he resurrected many rigs that others didn't want to fix or could not fix. He really enjoyed hands-on electronics and was active on the air and in the community, but people may not have known so much about that because he was never one to toot his own horn. Lee was a real radio amateur operator in every way and I certainly considered him a great friend and someone I could trust.

So sorry to hear this. I'm sure that he will be missed.
