WHAT A GREAT FIND AT LOCAL FLEAMARKET! GOT IT TODAY...
 SP600-J, S/N 2941...READY TO START RESTORATION AT ANY TIME!...NEED MORE INFO ON RIG,MISSING "HFO" PORTION,AS WELL AS DRIVE HUB ON TUNING DIAL...ASIDE FROM THE SP600 SITES I'VE VISITED,IS THERE ANYONE AROUND WHO I CAN EMAIL/QSO WITH DIRECTLY?..PLEASE LET ME KNOW...73..TIM..VE6PG.. :grin: [/b]

For SP600 info you might want to snoop around Ebay for Jamminpower.  He does some very nice work and has a site dedicated to the radio.

Good luck with resto.  I love my SP600 - nice radio

After you get your sp-600 working, read the three part article "Update that Super Pro" by KD0HG. It is in issue 20, 21, and 22, of Electric Radio Magazine. The product detector works great and will apply to most other good receivers.

I get on there once in  a while, with my ricebox, (my Apache is disconnected at the mo'.)

I don't think U.S. stations can get on 3725 voice; their voice band stops at 3750, I think.
