Has anyone ever heard this one before?
"Sometimes pool chlorine generates electrolytic action which causes radio noise over wide spectrum and over 500' from the device. There is no known cure."
https://www.ccrane.com/radio-noise-problems.aspxVelly interesting. Here in So. Ca (the land of the backyard pool) there is a lot of stray RFI from filter pumps and heated spa equipment. This stuff is a wasteland of unshielded Triacs, SCR's and AC timer circuits. Many of these lunkheads run power and control cables above ground from house to pool, creating highly effective 75 meter radiators.
The worst noise I ever had was from a neigbor's rooftop solar panel array charging system containing an unshielded switching PS.
