Does anyone know of downloadable SDR software for Windows ME?  I need software that is capable of accepting I/Q inputs from the sound card.

I bought a computer for $15 with that version of Windows on it.  I've tried Rocky version 2.0, and it works, but it doesn't have AM... only LSD, USB and CW.

sdr-radio and hd-sdr should both work.

Both worked on a vista laptop.
ME was after vista, was it not?

I really like both of thos programs with sdr-radio my main pick.

ME was before Vista and XP. It was a cobble of 98SE and several very bad dreams. Although the SDR-radio software will work with XP, recommended for current software version is Win7 64 bit. I think hd-sdr requires XP or above.

When I ran ME on one machine years ago, I got the "blue screen of death" at least once a day. It wasn't very good.

I tried those two programs and they didn't like Windows ME.  I did find an old version of SpectraVue version 3.21, and it seemed to work fine for a while.  I figured out the program and was listening to AM on 40 meters when something went wrong.  I don't know if it's the computer, the program or me...

Anyway, I've got something going good now.  Just a few bugs.

*Update:  Rebooted and reloaded the software configurations, and I'm back in business!

By the way, the reason why I had to do this is because my only program that I had for my Mac wouldn't play with the new OS update.  There is like absolutely no software available for Mac computers!  So, to the thrift store I went for a cheap SDR receiver only computer.
