It looks like I have the right junk laying around here to build a screen modulated 4X1 rig similar to the method KB3AHE used. Right now its looking like a pair of 6BG6's into a small multi tap mod transformer, but that may change as I dig through the junk and see what I have. Looking at pictures of his rig here: http://amfone.net/Amforum/index.php?topic=16319.0 Can anyone tell me what the control marked drive did? It looks like a wire wound pot. Maybe screen voltage control on the 6146?

I have a merit A-3008 10 watt modulation transformer 10K CT primary with 4, 5, 7.5 10 and 12K secondary NOS iron if you could use it.  I bought it to build a P/P 6V6 12 watt plate modulator for a QRP project.

Yes Chris, Frank was controlling drive by adjusting the screen on the 6146 driver.

Thanks guys.

I think I have all the right iron here to do this, but thanks for the offer!

Hopefully this thing will start coming together soon, and be on the air sometime this year.
