A friend of mine, WA2VSN, just shared some info with me about a vintage 10M transmitter he picked up on EBAY. Anyone ever hear of a Subraco MT-15X? What's more intriguing is that it was made just a few miles from where I live!

That's a beautiful set! Like it immediately! Seems there should be a companion RX or 'am radio adapter'.
