Hello AM Lovers,

Maybe this is interesting for you AM Lovers!
Every Thursday evening on 3600 khz an AM round in France.
Mostly I am only receiving/listening, because it is a large round....
And often it is not a pleasure to listen: tuners, jamming and ssb on the freq.
Yesterday I had help from a webreceiver in France!
I used this: http://www.globaltuners.com and the receiver: Grenoble, Rhone-Alpes, France
So I could hear the AM stations on the webreceiver and on my own receiver(s)!
On this way I have listen between +/- 19.45 to +/- 23.15 hour.
Christopher F1APJ were the 'netleader' and I signed in at +/- 20.00 hour on 3600 khz.
Below the stations I note in my 'notebook'......

2U0EJL James, not strong and no good audio
PA3HCO, Jan, sorry I could not receive him!! His signal 'hopping' over me....
F1APJ, S9 +15 and good audio
F5MAF, S9 +25, Mark and good audio
F6AQO, S7, Claude
F4HEF, S7 and very nice audio with a Collins transmitter
F?Huh, on 3604 khz, S8, but no good audio (BC 191?)
F5JPV, S9 +10, Claude good audio with a ART 13
F6END, S9, but many fading
F6BGV, S5, John, qth Nimes, good audio but I could not copy all words
f6BFK, Jean Pierre, S9 +15, good audio!
F5NJX, S5, no good audio with the BC 191
F?Huh, on 3603, with a BC 191, no good audio
F?Huh, very weak station in AM

F6BFK, with again good signal, but ssb splattering from 3603!
F1APJ, sorry difficult to copy, splattering from 3603.

- Some station in ssb on 3600 khz talking about AM splattering?

All stations who using the BC 191 did have no good audio....
I mean; their audio is not in 'the middle of the carrier'.
For example, on one side of the carrier the audio were louder.
And their BC 191 were 'drifting' a little: + and - the freq.

My transmitter: home-made, first tube EL 86 (crystal 3600 khz) and 1x PL 519 tube
Modulator: home-made 4x the 807 tube.
Power: +/- 140 Watts
Antenna: Inverted V, coaxial feeded and hanging on +/- 12 meters high.
Receivers: Grundig 1400, Yeasu FRG 7000, Yeasu FT 101 B and Yeasu FT 901 DM. And Webreceiver in France.

Greetings,

Henk, pe1mph
