Hi there

Just bought from local antique seller the Redifon R150, and preparing for RECAP and Realignment.

Does anyone know anything about Redifon R150? I was searching in the Net i could not find anything about it,  except Redifon R50M.

Front panel of Redifon R150 is almost the same as R50M, but no Band selector under 500 KHz. And, i found there is no 110KHz IF Path. PSU is included.

I guest. this receiver is HAM version rather than marine use.

Appreciate if you can navigate me to the service manual and schematics and the receiver performance.

Thank you and best regards

Agus.

Hello Agus!

I cannot find anything on the R150.

Here is the R50 manual (large file, slow download)

Post a photo when you can.  We would enjoy seeing your discovery.

Merry Christmas, Bill

According to Shortwave Receivers Past and Present , fourth edition, the R150 adds a crystal calibrator. The if is 465 KHz on all ranges except 0.135-.026 and .24-.6 MHz. On those two bands it is 110 KHz. Other differences are unknown.
