It looks like about 0.025 wavelength at 3880 kcs.  BIG loading coil.

Merry Christmas to all.

Its that time of the year for quiet reflection.

I have a complaint, yea, even a grievance with you. It is indecent to place the Festivus pole prior to December 23.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say Bah Humbug at this date, but, if the mood should strike you...................

It is a dimensionless monopole. A festivus miracle! A pre-festivus miracle for those orthodox.

I understand they come in various sizes, all the way down to a string of tree lights.  A great spinoff from "The Christmas Story."

My wife's PT guy told us last Christmas that he strung a set of them on the tree while his wife was out shopping and dared her to take them off when discovered.

He got his little comeuppance somewhat later.
But the lights stayed up.  Grin

..or so he claimed.

Now that's what I call a traditional holiday celebration!  Plain aluminum with a high strength to weight ratio!  Smiley

"Plain aluminum with a high strength to weight ratio!"

I find tinsel distracting, plus the pole requires no decoration.

Well, it's finally here. And where are YOU? I am greatly disappointed, but I don't have time to rant.
