Peter G4BIM booming in on his non-retro Flex 6700 + Expert 2K amp.  Heard near Albany NY with 3el SteppIR and Orion 9MHz i.f. output feeding NaP3 software recorder (LP-PAN software that was derived from PowerSDR).

Yes, the band is wide open to Europe and the also hearing the west coast here in Connecticut at 1600 UTC. Great fun!

An incredible SNR on that recording! At the beginning, I thought it was a studio recording, not over the air.  A few fades showed up later to let  me know if wasn't.

I think Peter was s9+20dB here at the time.  He said he was 10KHz wide and I'm not sure if that was audio or rf.  But I did extend the passband to encompass his entire panadapter waveform, so I got it all.   Smiley

I just checked the spectrum and there's audio out to 9.5KHz, so that answers that.
