I found a geeky 692 page pdf'ed book on the web today.

The title is: HANDBOOK OF PIEZOELECTRIC CRYSTALS FOR RADIO EQUIPMENT DESIGNERS
This Report Supersedes WADC TR 54-248, Dated December 1954
John P. Buchanan
Philco Corporation
OCTOBER 1956

It was originally published in 1956 by Philco Corporation for the Wright Air Development Center.  It is 48 Megabytes.  I originally found it at an Argentinian website but was unable to grab the url.  Become a crystal geek yourself.

Enjoy.

The credit belongs to tubebooks.org, whoever he is, and the author.
