It's alive. IT'S ALIVE!!!

« on: September 26, 2014, 09:41:25 AM »

The past couple of nights have been very enjoyable in the AM window due to the lack of lightning static. I am still getting great signal reports from folks in comparison to my previous antenna (INV. L). I recently put up a nice 180' doublet @ 60' fed with 600 ohm open wire line.

Looks like the quiet season is almost upon us......I'm sure we'll get some more storms, but I'm really looking forward to having some good AM fun.

Thanks for all the help and advice from those on this forum.

I'm outta control, plain and simple. Now I have a broadcast transmitter.
