Hello AM Lovers,

Today I listen to 15 meters and tried to get a qso on this band in AM.
After +/- 15.30 by us I were in my studio and listen to this band.
First I heard only a few ssb stations around 21420 khz.
But at +/- 16.30 by me I heard a station calling cq in AM.
Then I had a 'long' qso with WB1EAD on 21440 in AM.
Very variable conditions, the S-meter goes up & down!
Therefore difficult for me to get the call correct.
I told him (David) my S meter 'moves' from S1 to max. S7.
A pity I couldn't make quickly a little recording... sorry David.
Thanks for the fine, nice qso in AM!

After our qso I listen, listen and listen.... totaly nothing in AM.
Yes.... very weak I heard a station calling cq on 21430 khz.
And again some ssb stations around above freq.!

But, around 17.00 hours by, me I heard a station calling cq.
On 21400 khz I heard VE6CQ with S0 to S8!
Ofcourse I tried to get a qso with him, but I think he didn't heard me.
I made a little recording from him, see below.

Thats all for today on 15 mtrs,

Henk, PE1MPH
Dokkum, The Netherlands

Hi Henk..very nice to finally work you on 15mtrs ystdy!..Rick VE6CQ and I sorta compared notes or comments today about our mis-conception that you were an unknown never heard op..I believe for both of us it was just a coincidence that our signals never crossed paths with you..don't worry as ur unable to record my PW station..I'm not a fan of hearing my own voice anyway..I hate picture taking too......nice "Q" with you..ur signals very gud and ya know ur audio is very gud as well..by the way we have pretty much identical power outputs as mine runs approx 12watts carrier punching up to approx 45 on voice peaks..I let the antenna (Mosley TA-33) do all my work for me..
Agn tnx Henk for the nice long "Q"..jeez almost 20mins I believe..and for those out there that think the way I did.."Mr Henk REALLY is alive and well and doing a FB job near Dokkum in the Netherlands"..hope to work you agn Henk!!  73 de DAVE

Thanks for 'the flowers'... hi, hi... Smiley

I cann't believe I worked only you on 15 mtrs.
Mostly I hear more 'AM Lovers' on the band when conditions are good. Grin

Oh by the way.
I am using an old gray TURNER PLUS THREE (table-microphone).

Thanks again for the nice talk,
