Finally made a 15m contact today around 15:30. Heard Harry/W0LS signing with Stephanie WX3K(couldn't hear her down here) and gave him a call. He came back and we chatted for the better part of a half hour. His Flex sounded good down here, 59+10 and over at times.

First and only contact with the 15m dipole I built last year. Was building the legs for a 10m version when I heard Harry. After the contact I went out and dropped the dipole and did an element swap. Now it that station is tuned up and ready on 10m (ran out of time/conditions today).

Gotta say - I expected some drift from the Heathkit station, but was amazed that the Mohawk was FAR worse to keep on frequency than the Apache.
