Hello AM Lovers,

This morning I heard 1 station on 3885 khz, but no audio!
Maybe the owner testing his transmitter without modulation....
Time were +/- 06.30 hour by me and his signale +/- S9.

And on the mw I heard plenty BC from the USA!!
Receiver; Kenwood R 5000 connect with +/- 45 mtrs wire.
May I give you some freq.:
1620, 1520, 1510, 1500, 1310, 1390, 1410, 1130, 930 and 590 khz!

The strongest were on 1390 khz, perhaps WEGP 1390 AM Talk Radio.
And on 1670 khz I heard a station with many fading and some music.
Maybe some have for me the name....

Greetings,

Henk, pe1mh

Hallo AM Lovers,

80: This morning I heard 2 'longtalkers' on 3885 khz in AM
From one I made a recording, but I have no name or call.
I heard a station before this long-speaker, around 06.25 hours by me.
Both had this morning S3 to S8 by me.

MW: This morning no super mw conditions.
Only the BC on 1510 and 1130 kzh had both fair to good signals.

Thats all for today,

Hallo AM Lovers,

This morning I heard some weak AM stations on 3885 khz.
But a little to weak getting names or calls.

On mw I heard several bc stations from the usa.
Evenso on 1470 khz I heard one, not strong with a slow fading.
I needed to wait 'long'.... to hear the bc station comming up again.
And I listen in usb (narrow) bandwidth to hear on the Kenwood: Popmusic!

Next days again I will monitoring, maybe I can 'hear' the stationsname. Smiley

Good AM dx,

It is finally starting to quiet down here, Henk. Summer static from storms is dropping. Should be able to hear Jean coming in from the south of France on 80m in a few more weeks.

Yes Todd, signals are not big last days...
Only sometimes I hear AM on 3875 or 3885, but weak.
I keep my ears & eyes on these freq.

Evenso the BC on 1510 khz isn't strong anymore the last days.

Hello AM Lovers,

Last night weak AM signals on 3875 khz.
But... on mediumwave very good conditions!
I heard many BC stations from the USA on the mw band.

See below to hear some recordings I made:
1310 - 590 - 1130 and 930 khz.

I made this between 08.30 - 08.45 hours by me in the morning. Smiley
(06.30 - 06.45 London GMT time)

Maybe someone have been listening to above BC stations...
While I was recording...

Hello,

We have now Wintertime in The Netherlands...
This morning, 05.30 GMT Londontime, weak AM on 3875 khz.
To weak for me to copy names or calls.

But on mw very good conditions!
- 1520 khz WWKB Buffalo, NY?
- 820 khz WBAP?

Maybe someone can tell me which stations I heard.
Listen, if you want, to the recordings I made this morning.

Greetings,

Henk,  820 kHz would be WBAP, Fort Worth Texas.  They are 50 KW,and put out a very strong signal.

Jeff, many thanks!
The Golden Oldies station 'Radio Ten Gold' isn't anymore on 828 khz.
They are now on the FM band in The Netherlands: http://www.radio10.nl/
Thats the reason why I could hear now on 820 khz a BC from the USA.

This morning the 'Gospel Station' on 1510 khz were 'terrible' strong.
Evenso I heard fair BC from the USA on: 1620, 1640, 1660 and 1670.
But their signals were weak to fair...
