Steve, you were S9 last nite at about 8:00 local time and I think you heard me, but not well.  I also heard Carl and James a little, but shut down at 8:30 due to lots of QSB.  Maybe I should have stayed around longer.

maybe next week.....

Right now Wednesday  sept 10,  11:15 PST WWV 15 MHz is boiling in...yet the 20 meter ham band seems devoid of signals...
Yesterday afternoon I worked W1LYD from his cabin in the Yukon..We talked for over an hour on 14330 and no breakers...Brian was very strong here...
The Monday afternoon 14330 group was large this week..15 stations heard here in Tum Tum,WA.. coast to coast     I'm going to make some noise on 14330...AM    Steve

I had planned to check in, but I'm too close to the eastern stations.  I could hear only W0LS & W9AD here in Virginia ... both had commanding signals.

Good net last night. NE guys coming in lima charlie with KL7OF PW but readable in SE GA. Friend W1GUD Warren and Timtron (Warren at Timtron's) 30 DB/S9 consistent. Haven't been able to get on many Monday nets as of late due to tstorm activity (tstorms delayed one day and will be here today). Many good comments on the Valiant/new ANT. Approximately a dozen total check-ins but do not have list handy as I type this.

Last night on the net, Ralph KD6OS asked, "What happened to Brad, WS4B?"

I looked at his QRZ page and found this:

"Selling off gear, as I have decided to go QRT."

"To the friends I have made on the air, I'll never forget you. It's just time for me to move on............"

 "I always loved the ragchew!"

That about answers Ralph's question.

73's Brad.

I also talked to Ed, N5AEA, who was MOBILE on 20 meter AM.  Nice signal too!

Is anybody interested in getting the net back working again?  I haven't heard much in 2 or 3 Mondays.

It was the best conditions I have experienced on the Net in months.  Good to hear all the activity back again.

One member said, and I agree, "...it's time to get off 160 on Mondays and get back on the 20 meter net...".

I joined in late last night, only hearing Robert W0VMC signing off to get some dinner.  I listened and thought I heard N8SDR but he is usually down in the noise level here in NC due to the proximity of our stations.

I was then joined by N4JOY Chris in Sebring FL and then by Ralph KD6OS, who was part of the first group.   We talked for a while but nobody was around to add to the group.

Yes, it is nice to hear lots of rigs on the air, but I wonder where the West Coasters, and Far Westers were.

WS4B - Brad, Tampa, FL FT-102, SB220, 5/9+10-20
WD5JKO - Jim, Round Rock, TX, G76, GSB201, 5/9 to 5/9+10
KD6OS - Ralph, Porum, OK, 5/9 to 5/9+10
N2XD - John, Franklin, NC, S7 about 70% copy
WA2ROC - Dick, Durham, NC, no copy, too close to my location

I keep forgetting about Monday nights.  Someone needs to text me and remind me.  Either while I'm mobile or at the house, I can get on 20m AM.

Chris N4JOY and I finished the evening out. Tim WA1HLR,Clark KE7TRP was in the mix. I also heard Rick N8SDR when the Globe Champ filaments were warming up.
Great band conditions into the Midwest.

A few start about 6:00 EST
With what seems to be majority in around 7-7:30 EST - From what I hear n this location

and yes there is a YL net right above but usually here they are fairly weak and not in too long after things start

On that note from what I have seen and heard 14.325-327 seems to be a bit more open most of the time and often the group  moves down in that general area
