Nico and Chappie (Chappie is the dog...)

« on: February 02, 2016, 01:51:49 PM »

I had today 8 AM contacts in a row, and all very nice. Italian stations, one QRP with 5 Watts, a Swedish station, germany where my 50 Watt phillips transmitter brought a signal of S9 + 10, a french station and a few English staions, one QRP, also 5 watts from south of london and I received him with 5-6 Further an English QRP station in Puerta ventura and a Spanish station. So quite some activity.
A dutch station that heard me but couldn't make AM, made a recording how I was received in the netherlands. I am very happy with that, the first time I could hear the modulation quality of the Philips SFZ395/00 transmitter. I attach the recording to this message
Regards
Nico
