Bear,

I was/am actually building something.

I have a final amplifier module from a Transworld TW-100 xcvr that I picked up cheap on ebay. It has 2 stages and should be able to run a solid 25W carrier with good headroom. So far I've tested it and mounted it on a chassis with an enclosure. It's now in a large plastic bin with some other parts collected for the project. I need to come up with a LPF or preferably a diplex filter, hence my interest in them. I'll probably start with a LPF as the HPF and dump resistor can be added later.

The whole project has been going on and off for a few years and it has yet to float back to the top of my priority list, but it's close. So we can mark it as "in process"... but not "in progress". Higher on my list is to create a better workspace so I can proceed with it and other projects.
