Saw an 813 amp on EBay recently which references schematics that look like ARRL work, The seller also referred to it as a 1948 amp. Nothing comes up in a QST search and you can see a chapter heading so sure looks like a Handbook article.
It is titled "A 500 Watt Beam Tube Amplifier"

I don't have that year in my collection and would like to get a copy of the article, or buy a Handbook if it is in there.
Thanks and 73

I think that looks like the amplifier from QST of February 1947, p.23  If you have access to the QST archives you might check to see.

Most HB feature articles are from an earlier QST and the HB version is often condensed and almost always doesnt include corrections and revisions.

Its NOT in the 47 ARRL, it IS in the 48 starting on Pg 207.

The 47 does have a cute 7C5, 7C5, 4D32 rig.
