Wow that is amazing ,  he is definately a Craftsman of the first order !   I love his shop setup too ,  I'm a retired mechanic so I appreciate anything to do with tools , machinery , and wires ,  and the people who know how to use them .

I doesnt appear that he makes any flying replicas ? ,  that would be awsome .  Something I have always wanted to do , but never got arountoit  ,  is model aircraft  Undecided

Craftsmanship in the watch-making category.   6000 hours.

Here is a biography on Young Park.  He is a retired dentist.

A list of other "Internet Craftsmen" at the website :
(Do you you think you spend much time on ham radio projects?  One guy, Alec Gerrard has spent 30,000 hours making a model of King Herod's Temple in Jerusalem.)

Tom,
Thanks for those links ,  guys if you enjoy looking at precision machine work and model building there are some amazing pictures and stories on those sites .  How about a running V-8 Chevy engine in miniature as an example .  Mind blowing the amount of work and detail that went into these creations .   Shocked

Incredible craftsmanship and PATIENCE! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

More patience than I'll ever have!

I have seen many subminiature engines at exhibits at a lot of the antique gas engine shows that I go to. Those guys never cease to amaze me with ther patience, craftsmanship, and innovation!

Kudos to them all ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! !

High volume manufacturing at the lowest possible price is killing craftsmanship.

Glad to see a few people keeping it alive.

Unbelievable.

Watchmaker's scale stuff!!

Quite frankly, while small is good and cool, I would have been equally impressed by a larger scale model
that had the equal detail.

Yeup, Very impressive.

I saw this larger scale model yesterday on a flyover of the National Mall during a ceremony marking 50 years since the start of Vietnam.

This takes 'attention to detail' to a very high level.  Absolutely fine work.
